Delegacioni Amerikan, i përbërë nga 18 profesionistë në fushat e logopedisë dhe audiologjisë, si dhe studentë të diplomuar nga Universiteti i Iowa, do të vizitojë Kosovën nga data 10 deri më 19 maj. Gjatë kësaj periudhe, ata do të angazhohen në një javë të ngarkuar me aktivitete intensive në Komunën e Prishtinës.
Një nga organizimet tona kryesore është Konferenca e Parë Ndërkombëtare: Gjuhë, të Folur dhe Dëgjim në Kosovë, e cila do të zhvillohet në datën 17 maj në Prishtinë.
Tema për këtë edicion të parë do të jetë "Fuqizimi i Komunikimit: Diagnostikimi, Trajtimi dhe Rehabilitimi i Çrregullimeve të Gjuhës, të Folurit dhe Dëgjimit".
Kjo konferencë do të jetë një mundësi e shkëlqyer për të gjithë pjesëmarrësit që të përfitojnë nga njohuritë dhe përvoja e ekspertëve të njohur ndërkombëtarisht nga Universiteti i Iowa-s, SHBA, të cilët do të ndajnë studimet dhe praktikat më të fundit në fushën e zhvillimit gjuhësor, të folurit dhe dëgjimit.

The intensive work of the NGO Kosovo Institute of Logopedics is approaching the realization of a very important project. The American delegation, consisting of 18 professionals in the fields of speech therapy and audiology, as well as graduates from the University of Iowa, will visit Kosovo from May 10th to 19th. During this period, they will engage in a week full of intensive activities in the Municipality of Pristina.
One of our main events is the First International Conference on Language, Speech, and Hearing in Kosovo, which will take place on May 17th in Pristina. The theme for this first edition will be "Empowering Communication: Diagnosis, Treatment, and Rehabilitation of Speech, Language, and Hearing Disorders."
This conference will be an excellent opportunity for all participants to benefit from the knowledge and experience of internationally recognized experts from the University of Iowa, USA, who will share the latest studies and practices in the field of language development, speech, and hearing.

Students and academic staff in therapeutic health sciences
Parents and caregivers who want to gain more knowledge and develop new approaches to help their children

The conference is currently in the process of being accredited by the Kosovo Nursing Chamber (OIK).
