About the event

Author Event: Gene Scott on his new novel The Testers
NEW EVENT JUST ADDED! On Friday, August 8, 4-5 pm, Gene Scott will discuss his new book The Testers, a dual-timeline Appalachian noir where memory is survival.
In 1521 Tudor England, Thomas Tester risks death to taste for poison at court. In 2025 Tennessee, Dr. Grace Blackwood uncovers a deadly pharmaceutical conspiracy rooted in the same bloodline. Spanning five centuries, The Testers is a story of healers, witnesses, and those who carry truth when systems try to erase it.
