Battlefield Walking Tour (2)

JOIN BATTLEFIELD EXPERT Dr Arran Johnston for a walking tour of key locations and landmarks associated with the Battle of Prestonpans, site of Bonnie Prince Charlie’s famous victory in 1745.

Although over very quickly, this battle was the first significant engagement in the Jacobite uprising of 1745 and has played a role in Scottish history and culture ever since.

The walk will cover approximately 2 miles using a mix of tarmac and stone-chip paths. There will be an option to climb up the Viewpoint Pyramid on the return leg.

Please make sure you wear appropriate and comfortable footwear and bring a waterproof in case of rain!
