All welcome to join us for an uplifting singing session with Sing Preston. Whether you are a shy singer, ‘sing in the shower’ singer, confidant singer or somewhere in between you’re welcome to come along!
The sessions will be led by Christina, who currently leads several singing groups, including a women’s singing group with Singing Mamas, which is a Community Interest Company (CIC), and the Heartbeat Community Choir at Deepdale Stadium.
She also set up and co-led a community choir for two years. In addition, she runs regular singing workshops at the Aplestore Cafe.
Christina has had the privilege of leading choirs across the North West and studied music at the Royal Northern College of Music.
She is passionate about building more singing communities, helping people find their tribe, and creating spaces where everyone can connect and experience the joy of singing together.
Hospitality is at the heart of what she does, and she loves the idea of hosting the choir at Chews Yard, where people can stick around after singing, have a drink, and continue building connections.
Christina believes that we are all born to sing—babies come out cooing, and if you can coo, you can sing! Sadly, many of us lose that confidence as we grow older, but she's dedicated to helping people rediscover their voice in a fun, safe, and supportive space.
She teaches everything by ear, line by line, with no need for sheet music or auditions, so everyone is welcome—whether you’re a shy singer, an “only sing in the shower” singer, a confident singer, or somewhere in between. Her ethos centers on inclusion, fun, and connection, where we sing for joy and wellbeing, not perfection.
