Summer Workshop No 1: Drum Solos

My summer workshops have been designed to act as an introduction to Egyptian style belly dance to anyone who wants to have a go. They do not focus on technique, but on fun, giving students the opportunity to try something new, have fun, have some "me" time, and perhaps give them a break from the kids?

No experience is necessary as workshops will cater for all

In this workshop you will learn about some of the drums used in Middle Eastern music, as they feature in all aspects of music regardless of it's genre, whether they are in the background as the heartbeat of the music, or they are featured in their own solo.

You will learn how to interpret these drums, and how to use them in your dance to create harmony
