Love to dance? Love to be creative? Want to perform and share your skills with the world?! We need you!
It’s that time of year where we open the doors to welcome young dancers from Preston and the surrounding areas to join Preston Youth Dance Company for the 25/26 year.
Open to anyone aged 11 - 19 years, Preston Youth Dance Company is different from your average dance class. We are a community, a family of dancers who collaborate to create and perform innovative performances across the region and nationally. We celebrate the individual, help young people find their voice, encourage their creativity and support them in development dance, physical, creative and teamwork skills.
No previous experience necessary - we look for enthusiasm and potential. You may have been dancing all your life or just love to test out your skills in the comfort of your own home, either way, we would love to meet you. We welcome dancers trained or experienced in any style and the company work with Contemporary Dance and fuse other styles with this.
The audition isn’t scary, just a chance to meet current company dancers, join in class, get creative and let us know a little more about you.
Everyone welcome but registration in advance is essential.
