Preston North End and Baxi - A Community Legacy
NEW TALK - Preston North End and Baxi - A Community Legacy, by John Kay

In September 1994 local heating company BAXI acquired PNE Football Club. Under the inspirational leadership of young businessman Bryan Gray, their CEO who became the club's Chairman, BAXI set about revolutionising the way it was run on & off the pitch.

In his talk, John will be addressing in particular the community aspects of the Baxi project, which were right at the heart of their reasons for acquiring the club "...and providing a fascinating insight into what a football club can do working at the centre of its community."

Join us on Saturday 12 July at Lancashire Archives & Local History from 2-3pm, Bow Lane, Preston, PR1 2RE.
