We look forward to welcoming indie rock artist Jacob Reddy to Chew's Yard on Sunday 29th June, from 2pm.
From first picking up a guitar aged 7 to playing Glastonbury Festival, selling out headline shows, performing in stadiums, playing live on prime-time TV, being commissioned to write an anthem for Blackburn Rovers FC and supporting acts such as The Lottery Winners, Pet Needs, The South & Starsailor’s James Walsh, there’s really been no slowing down!
Jacob describes his music as ‘Grit Pop’. Whilst mainly focusing on
creating catchy melodies and passionate, sing-along choruses,
Jacob doesn’t shy away from fusing other elements, taking
inspiration from indie rock, folk punk, alt rock and pop to create not only a unique but highly memorable sound.
He currently holds over 400,000 streams on Spotify, has been
played on BBC Radio numerous times and has played to stadium
crowds of over 8000 people. Jacob spent 2024 as one of XS
Manchester’s ‘Ones To Watch’ and, having just headlined
Manchester’s After All Festival, and with an upcoming slot at Brit
Fest in July, is set for a very exciting year.
