The Cyanotype process records the delicate, intricate forms of nature using the power of the sun to create beautiful, botanical blueprints using leaves, grasses and florals placed on light sensitive paper. Suitable for beginners wanting to create awe inspiring decorative art, or for the more advanced artist seeking to explore the distinctiveness of this technique for their creative practice. All are welcome.

What to expect
· Fully guided workshop with all materials included.
· Please also feel free to bring your own pressed botanicals, everyday objects, stencils or photographic negatives to try out, if you’d like to.
· A relaxed friendly atmosphere where creativity and experimentation are encouraged.
· Hannah will include an introduction to the history of Cyantotype printing, and how it has become the fascinating creative process we see today.
· Experience making your own uniquely beautiful artworks, from scratch.
· You will make a set of 4 original Cyanotype greetings cards and an A4 print, which can be gifted, or kept to display and admire.
Hannah is the creative spirit behind @wildbotanic_prints, and regularly contributes to Chew’s Yard Arts & Craft Markets. Her journey into Cyanotype began during a photography course, where she discovered the magic of recording nature’s raw beauty through this unique process. At Wild Botanics, each piece is handmade using foraged botanicals. Every creation is one-of-a-kind, preserving nature's amazing structure and detail, captured in that single moment.
Based in Lancashire, Hannah has travelled widely around the world, and has been teaching for over 7 years.
