Event Summary:

10:00 - 11:00 - Sharing International Perspectives to Improve Teaching and Learning in Physical Education, Professor David Grecic

This presentation will describe how research into teaching and learning practices is being shared and disseminated across the world in order to support PE teachers’ practice and improve children’s life chances. The presentation will demonstrate contemporary research and products that have been created for teachers and pupils. It will also signpost attendees where they can continue to find free materials and updates that can enhance their own learning and practice.

11:00 - 12:00 - Methods for Exploring Human Movement, Dr Graham Chapman

This presentation will showcase different equipment capabilities to conduct human (and animal) movement research and demonstrate how this equipment is used to understand human movement in clinical/sports setting. Attendees may include individuals or research/teaching groups interested in exploring collaborations/explore how these methodologies can be used by different research groups or within teaching
