Something New is exited to collaborate again with Averil Huck from Prague Feminist Tours for the 3rd and brand new edition! And this time it is all about the love and drama hiding in the history in Petřín & Malá Strana.
What to expext from the tour?
A 1.5h walk in Prague's Malá Strana and Petřín garden. Get ready for tales of love, drama, and scandal, but also deeper reflections on gender roles and societal norms around love and relationships. Because love isn’t just about romance—it’s about support, struggle, and sometimes, resistance. We'll explore Czech power couples like Charlotte & Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk, women who defied expectations in love like Milada Horáková and Františka Plamínková, and take a critical look at Valentine’s Day and May 1st traditions.
We’ll also make sure that participants get a chance to speak one on one as we’ll incorporate some speed friending into the tour. After the tour, you can stay for a lil pique-nique in the park to continue getting to know each other
