Srdečně Vás zveme na výstavu malíře, sochaře a performera Františka Skály, který v prostorách Trafo Gallery představí svou aktuální tvorbu, v níž s lehkostí sobě vlastní kombinuje přírodní materiály, hravost a osobitou estetiku. Vernisáž proběhne ve čtvrtek 5. června 2025 od 19:00, výstava potrvá do 20. července 2025.

Výstava Abstractio per naturam představuje výjimečnou tvář Františka Skály - díla, jejichž jednoduchost a osobitá estetika hraničí s abstrakcí či minimalismem. Autor přitom nijak neuhýbá ze své nastoupené tvůrčí cesty, pouze své postupy a jejich výsledky dovádí do formálně i obsahově zjemnělé esence. Termíny jako abstrakce či minimalismus nám ve skutečnosti mohou sloužit pouze jako pomůcka, umožňující popsat průzračnou čistotu skálovského destilátu, již vystavená umělecká díla představují.
Na své diváky dílo Františka Skály často působí svou lehkostí, vyvolává dojem, že autor svá díla zázračně nachází ve svém okolí. Jednoduchost ale neznamená snadnost, ve skutečnosti vyžaduje náročnou práci, snad jen někdy korunovanou šťastnou náhodou. Aktuální výstava v Trafo Gallery tak bude především zúročením mnohaletých zkušeností umělce se světem přírody a s lidskou materiální produkcí.

Trafo Gallery cordially invites you to the exhibition of painter, sculptor, and performer František Skála, who will present his latest work in the spaces of Trafo Gallery. With his characteristic ease, he combines natural materials, playfulness, and a distinctive aesthetic. The opening will take place on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 7:00 PM, and the exhibition will run until July 20, 2025.

The exhibition Abstractio per naturam reveals a unique facet of František Skála’s work—pieces whose simplicity and distinctive aesthetic border on abstraction and minimalism. The artist does not deviate from his established creative path; rather, he brings his methods and their outcomes to a formally and conceptually refined essence. Terms like abstraction or minimalism may serve only as tools to describe the crystal-clear purity of the distilled "Skála style" embodied by the exhibited artworks.
Skála’s works often strike viewers with their lightness, creating the impression that the artist has miraculously discovered them in his surroundings. But simplicity does not mean ease—it requires demanding work, sometimes crowned by a stroke of luck. This current exhibition at Trafo Gallery is above all a culmination of the artist’s many years of experience with the natural world and with human material culture.
