cs: Fotografická výstava mozambického fotožurnalisty Antonia Cossy nabízí působivé vizuální svědectví o globálních dopadech klimatické změny a jejích obětech. Prostřednictvím snímků – od následků cyklonů v Mosambiku a spalování plastového odpadu na afrických skládkách až po obrazy jehličnatých lesů v České republice zničených kyselými dešti – autor předkládá silný portrét planety v krizi.
Jeho práce nejen dokumentuje důsledky environmentální degradace napříč Afrikou a Evropou, ale zároveň vyzývá každého z nás k uznání vlastní ekologické odpovědnosti. S empatií a naléhavostí výstava vybízí k zamyšlení nad neodkladnou potřebou jednat na obranu našeho společného domova – toho jediného, který máme.
Tato výstava je součástí Evropské konference afrických studií, která se koná v Praze od 25. do 28. června 2025. Její téma rezonuje se zaměřením konference na propojenou budoucnost Evropy a Afriky s důrazem na udržitelnost a vzájemnou odpovědnost.
