Srdečně vás zveme na závěrečný večer rezidenčního pobytu české vizuální umělkyně Lucie Vobr Jestřabíkové.
Ve čtvrtek 4. září od 18:00 otevřeme rezidenční ateliér, kde budete mít možnost setkat se s autorkou, prohlédnout si výsledky její rezidence a dozvědět se více o jejím měsíčním zkoumání.
Lucie Vobr Jestřabíková se ve své tvorbě věnuje problematice doteku a sním spojené transformaci prostřednictvím destruktivního gesta. To nevnímá jako negativní, ale naopak jako možnost dát prostor emocím a otevřít cestu ke vzniku něčeho nového. Její výstupy často nabývají podoby objektů z fragilních materiálů, jako jsou papír, lepící páska či porcelán, které transformuje pečlivým a jedinečným zpracováním. Z obyčejného papíru se tak díky soustavnému čmárání tužkou může stát tvrdý, kovu podobný objekt.

We warmly invite you to the closing evening of the residency of Czech visual artist Lucie Vobr Jestřabíková.
On Thursday, September 4 at 6 PM, the residency studio will open its doors, giving you the opportunity to meet the artist, explore the outcomes of her residency, and learn more about her month-long research.
In her work, Lucie Vobr Jestřabíková focuses on the theme of touch and the transformation it brings through the act of destruction. She does not perceive this act as negative, but rather as a way to give space to emotions and to open the possibility for something new to emerge. Her works often take the form of objects made from seemingly fragile materials such as paper, adhesive tape, or porcelain, which she transforms through meticulous and singular processes. For instance, through persistent pencil scribbling, a soft white sheet of paper can be transformed into a hard, metal-like object.
