JAZZ DOCK ORCHESTRA plays Chick Corea

V rámci červnového koncertu Jazz Dock Orchestra zazní nové aranže klasických melodií legendárního pianisty a skladatele Chicka Corei. Aranžér Andy Schofield vycházel především z Coreových skladeb ze 70. a 80. let. Forma a struktura těchto kompozic je spletitá a komplexní, což je ideální pro big band, a nabízí se zde prostor pro sólisty i ansámblové party. Jazz Dock Orchestra bude mít příležitost ukázat své umění na opravdu náročné hudbě.

For the June concert Jazz Dock Orchestra will new arrangements by Andy Schofield of classic tunes by Chick Corea, based mainly around Corea's compositions from the 1970s and 80s. The form and structure of his compositions is so intricate and complex, they transfer perfectly to the big band format, allowing space for soloists, as well as providing challenging ensemble parts for the band.
