Flower Pigment Creation w/ Veronika Vlková

Join us for a unique workshop on making your own pigments, guided by artist Veronika Vlková. During the workshop, we will learn how to extract colorful pigments from fresh and dried flowers or leaves, and use them just like ink or watercolor paints in our own artistic creations. We'll be cooking, conjuring, experimenting, and painting! Beginners, students, and children are all welcome.

About the Instructor
Veronika Vlková lives and works in Brno. She studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts at Brno University of Technology. Her main focus is watercolor painting. She has illustrated numerous books, including Ježíškova košilka (Baby Jesus’s Shirt) by Jan Zahradníček, To je metro, čéče, and Apolenka z Modrotisku. She is also involved in music and video, creating multimedia performances. Currently, she works at the Painting Studio 3 at FaVU Brno.
