"DEHASBARIZACE": dekonstrukce izraelské propagandy

Hebrejský výraz hasbara znamená doslova „vysvětlení“ a v rámci ‚Izraele‘ je eufemismem pro formální politiku „izraelské“ evangelizace, apologetiky a propagandy. Hasbara se snaží ovlivňovat veřejné mínění po celém světě ve prospěch „Izraele“ a sionismu, přičemž Izraelci a sionisté v zahraničí působí jako její „mluvčí“.

To by se samozřejmě nemohlo dít bez řádné indoktrinace, která probíhá jak na státní úrovni v izraelských školách a školkách, tak na mezinárodní úrovni v židovských komunitách.

Pokud jste ještě neviděli film ISRAELISM, velmi doporučujeme. Film sleduje dva mladé americké židy, kteří byli vychováni k bezvýhradné podpoře Izraele. Pak ale navštíví okupovanou Palestinu... a změní to jejich životy. Připojí se k hnutí mladých amerických Židů, kteří vedou kampaň za nové vymezení vztahu judaismu k Izraeli, a odhalí prohlubující se generační rozkol v otázce moderní židovské identity.


Na akci promluví:

Natalie and Michal obě vyrostly v Izraeli. Seznámí vás s různými způsoby, jakými izraelský vzdělávací systém indoktrinuje děti - od mateřské školy až po dospívání, kdy se učí zacházet se zbraněmi.

Michal pracovala v oblasti politického vzdělávání a jako koordinátorka v nevládní organizaci ZOCHROT, kde se věnovala detabuizaci událostí Nakby 1948 v izraelské společnosti.

Akce bude koncipována jako workshop, abyste měli maximální prostor se ptát.

V závěru se také pokusíme spojit s rodinami přímo v Gaze a slyšet přímo od nich, co se tam děje.

Pracovním jazykem bude angličtina, ale bude možnost překladu.

Nakonec jsme se rozhodli, že další naši mluvčí vystoupí až na příští akci, abychom dali maximum prostoru Natali a Michal, které k nám váží cestu.

The Hebrew term hasbara literally means 'explanation' and within 'Israel' is a euphemism for the formal politics of 'Israeli' evangelism, apologetics and propaganda. Hasbara seeks to influence public opinion worldwide in favour of 'Israel' and Zionism, with Israelis and Zionists abroad acting as its 'spokesmen'.

Of course, this could not happen without proper indoctrination, which takes place both at the state level in Israeli schools and kindergartens and internationally in Jewish communities.

But then they visit occupied Palestine... and it changes their lives. They join a movement of young American Jews who are campaigning to redefine Judaism's relationship to Israel, and reveal a deepening generational divide over modern Jewish identity.


Our speakers:

Natalie and Michal both grew up in Israel. They will introduce you to the various ways in which the Israeli education system indoctrinates children - from kindergarten through adolescence, when they learn to use weapons.

Michal has worked in the field of political education and as a coordinator at the NGO ZOCHROT, where she worked to detabouise the events of the 1948 Nakba in Israeli society.

We will also try to connect with the families in Gaza to heard directly from them about what is happening.

Working language will be English, but there will be a possibility of translation.

We decided to give maximum space to our guests Natali and Michal, since they are coming to us from a long distance. Our members will speak at the next event.
