Jr. Naturalist Camp

Hey there, nature enthusiasts! 🌿

Knox County Parks & Recreation is excited to invite you to our Jr. Naturalist Camp—an awesome opportunity for young explorers in Knox County and East Tennessee to dive into the wonders of nature. This specialty camp is all about fostering awareness, understanding, and respect for our natural resources. 🦉🌸🌾

Through hands-on activities, games, art, and research, we’re connecting the natural history of Tennessee with fun and learning. Each day brings a new adventure with topics like birding, exploring local flora and fauna, wetlands exploration, and even taking part in a beautification project!

Camp Details:

Age Group: 8 - 12

Dates: July 21 - 24
Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu

Time: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Location: Collier Preserve Park

Cost: $45 per child
