Ages 10 & Up Art Series: Learn to Paint Like Alma Woodsey Thomas

'Color Our World' is this year's theme for Summer Reading and to celebrate that theme the Powell Library will be hosting an art series for those aged 10 & Up!

At the first 10 & Up Art Series, learn to paint like Alma Woodsey Thomas!

At the age of 75 in 1966, Alma Woodsey Thomas was the first African American women artist to have a solo exhibit of her abstract art in the Whitney Museum of American Art and since then has had her art displayed in the White House three times.

This free program is open to those aged 10 & up. Supplies are provided for those attending the program.
