In 2023, several of you joined Appalachian Voices, WVU BAD Buildings Program, and Virginia Department of Environmental Quality for a new program identifying buildings in town in need of attention or demolition as well as five priority areas for the town’s focus: health and safety, visibility, brownfield property, redevelopment potential, and feasibility. Using that information, partners from West Virginia University’s BAD Building Program have devised a comprehensive overview of Pound’s buildings in need.
Join us on May 7th at 5:30 p.m. to learn more about the conclusion of the BAD Buildings program and the resulting plans for Pound.
