Join Heathcliff and Fae in a circle to honor Samhain. Learn a brief history about the day, participate in a ritual to the Morrigan, and honor your ancestors and Beloved Dead that have come before you.
Heathcliff Deadwick is Deadwick's Minister of Magic and Arcane Librarian. He practices eclectic Paganism and deity work, working primarily with the god Thor and goddess Morrigan, as well as others. He enjoys learning about new topics and is always excited to share his knowledge!
Fae Deadwick is Deadwick's curator, and resident vampire crow witch. She has been a witch for 20 years, and has been dedicated to the goddess Morrigan since her teen years. Her favorite form of magic to practice is protection magic, and her favorite day of the year is Samhain.
Classes will take place in the Deadwick's Common Room. Please enter through the front of Deadwick's upon arrival, at 19 Sheafe St. and allow time for parking. We ask that you call the shoppe if you are running late.
**Due to high volume traffic and street parking bans downtown on October 31st for the Portsmouth Halloween Parade, we recommend parking in the Hanover or Foundry garages, a 15-20 min walk. Drop-off in front of the shoppe is possible BEFORE 6pm, when the parade route streets close. Sheafe Street is situated just between Daniel Street and State Street, where the route will run its course.
The circle will close in time for guests to view the parade.**
