Haunting Nights have heard so much about the Hauntings of The Groundlings Theatre in Portsmouth and its reputed NINE ghosts an overnight ghost hunt is a must

This grade 2 listed building started life in the 1700s as the first built free school in the UK and was in use up until 1960s before becoming The Groundlings Theatre.

The Groundlings Theatre has been certified as being Haunted and is now one of Portsmouth’s most haunted buildings.

The Theatre featured in a whole episode of ‘Help My House is Haunted’, and the ghostly activity has been the subject of several TV programmes

During your overnight ghost hunt in Portsmouth, Hampshire you will be working with the Haunting Nights Team as we attempt to make contact with “little George” on the staircase or Emily in the classroom – laughing children are often heard upstairs

Poltergeist activity is not uncommon as objects are moved and even vanish only to turn up later in a different part of the theatre

One particular room has the distinct smell of lavender whilst cold spots and dark shadows are encountered throughout

Visited by royals Prince Albert, Lord Palmerston and Queen Victoria and almost an untimely visit by Charles Dickens, but that is another story!
