*NEW DATE* The Waiting meets Musical Portraits on 5 July
On this Saturday afternoon, the pinhole photographs of Séverine Morizet will be accompanied live by original piano compositions from Paul Victor, which he calls Musical Portraits.
The exhibition The Waiting becomes a living experience, where each photo is deepened by music. The piano pieces invite you to linger, to tune in more fully with the emotions and quiet passages held within the images. At its core it underlines the theme of Séverine’s work: While we are waiting, things are unfolding.
Exhibition The Waiting:
As her camera opens to light, Séverine slips into the model’s skin and inhabits a pose for the duration of an introspective voyage. In relative stillness, she enters a state of reverie, anchored only by the act of being physically there: I am here, but I am elsewhere.
Waiting, here, is a form of attention that listens. A process that welcomes the unexpected.
Musical Portraits:
Intimate, miniature piano compositions, specially written to reflect personal stories, meaningful milestones, and evocative memories. Each piece echoes the emotional essence of a unique moment or experience, expressed through music.
