About the event

The Art of Forgiveness: An Evening Workshop
Learn how Buddhist teachings can help you open your heart and release resentment in a way that's genuine and enduring

About this Event

Forgiveness is the heart’s release of resentment and ill-will. In this workshop, we will learn how and why we can engage in this radical release of pain. We’ll see that true forgiveness usually doesn’t happen in a 2-hour period, but is instead a process that happens over time, and can absolutely include healthy boundaries.

Through the models and practices you will learn, you will intimately understand how you can enter the forgiveness process in a way that will beautify your life, both inwardly and in your relationships.

Our approach to forgivenss will synergize the Buddhist perspective with Desmond Tutu's four steps to forgiveness.

The workshop will feature a journaling exercise, lecture, community discussion, and a guided meditation. Our approach to forgivenss will synergize the Buddhist perspective with Desmond Tutu's four steps to forgiveness.
