Join us for the May Sustainable Building Monthly (SBM) event, where we will learn the benefits of building with wood and how to navigate responsible sourcing for forest, climate, and community health. Evan, Senior Program Manager at Sustainable Northwest, will provide insights into the wood products supply chain, forest management certifications, and strategies for intentional sourcing. Attendees will also learn about innovative wood products that support restoration efforts and the latest trends in green building certifications related to wood sourcing. With a background in architecture and wood science, Evan brings expertise from his work in mass timber education, applied research, and sustainable wood markets. This session will equip project teams and experts with the knowledge to make informed decisions about using wood in construction while maximizing environmental and economic benefits.
