Pinning Class

Learn the techniques of relaxing, pinning, and drying dead butterfly specimens (Tiger Leafwing or Blue 88 Butterfly).

Ticket includes instruction, zoo admission, pins, forceps, styrofoam pinning block, and one moth or butterfly. Optional shadowbox add-on.

​Due to limited space, everyone attending must purchase a ticket. Recommended age 10+ as pinning requires fine motor skills and uses sharp objects. Kids under age 15 must have an adult present with a ticket. If you are accompanying someone and do not want to pin a bug, please purchase the $10 parent/guest ticket.
