Soul'd Out presents a night of slow-burning soul 🔥 sweet harmonies 🎶 and SoCal heat 🌴 as the Puro SoCal Souldies Summer Tour rolls into Portland.
Headlining the evening is Los Yesterdays 💔 bringing their signature blend of Chicano soul and vintage R&B, channeling the heartache and harmony of East LA’s golden era. Known for tracks like Love Is a Game for Fools and Nobody’s Clown, the band filters classic crooner energy through the hazy glow of modern Los Angeles.
Jackie Mendez 🎤 delivers a powerful solo set full of rich vocals, deep grooves, and timeless spirit. Drawing from 60s-era ska, rocksteady, and soul, Jackie has toured with major international acts and carved out a sound that’s both classic and uniquely her own.
Opening the night is The Silvertone 🌙 a psychedelic Chicano soul band emerging from Southern California, blending vintage grooves, dreamy instrumentation, and Latin-rooted rhythms. Their fresh sound nods to Santana and Menahan Street Band while charting their own soulful course.
Also performing are Thee Heart Tones 💕 a rising group of young musicians from Hawthorne, California. Led by the powerhouse vocals of Jazmine Alvarado, they bring downbeat ballads and smooth harmonies with a maturity well beyond their years.
