Kickoff Ride

This is the official ride that kicks off the festivities every year. This year's ride is led by The Cycle Homies.

If you ordered merch by May 15th, you can pick up items at the park. Volunteers will be selling a limited number of Bike Summer pennants and stickers from 1:00pm to 2:30pm near the gazebo at the park. No t shirts or tank tops are sold at the park, but we'll have shirts for you to try on before you buy online. www.shop.rendered.co/bikesummer

We'll have Ride Leader pennants to give away - first come, first served - for those who already have rides on the calendar.

Volunteers on site will help affix pennants to bikes.

Timeline:
1:00pm - Event starts
1:00pm - Music from Feels Like Home starts
2:30pm - Sales end at merch booth
2:30pm - Grupo Santiago Naranjas and Banda Tercera Generacion de Washington perform
2:45pm - Last pick up for pre-ordered merch
3:00pm - Ride departs
5:00pm - Picnic and hang with music by USB Check at Colonel Summers

We will share the route closer to the event.

Ride will be documented by Roo of Roo Media and Warpaint Magazine.

You are encouraged to dress yourself and your bike up.
