Irises for the Pacific Northwest at Division

We in the Willamette Valley are lucky to be able to grow many different species of irises. Chad Harris, the President of the Greater Portland Iris Society and owner of Mt Pleasant Iris Farm will guide you on how to pick the perfect easy-to-grow species of iris for your garden conditions. Whether you have shade, sun, water, or dry, there is an iris that will grow for you. Handouts listing the many species talked about and their needs, along with a local source list for the many farms in the Pacific Northwest, will be available.

**This class at our Division Street location is presented as part of the Greater Portland Iris Society’s Iris Sale at our Stark Street location – Saturday August 16th and Sunday August 17th**

***All classes this summer will be held in our greenhouse Hoop House 2, which is located out in the yard of the nursery, near the trees and small fruits. It is a large greenhouse that functions as a covered outdoor area. If the weather is warm, we will have water available, but please remember to dress so that you are comfortable during the presentation.***
