To baptize me with?” Look no further: Come get some homemade comedy pie July 24th, Thursday Eve, at the cozy Newscapes Brewing for an unforgettable night of laughs and gaffs! At Enlighten Me Comedy, we produce and believe in creating quality comedy shows with mostly women, because society holds us to higher standards, and it turns the gender dynamics of most comedy shows on their heads. Also, catch these acts while they’re still humble because it is always one talented lineup !

Dawn is from Lewiston and is a mom to three boys. When she isn’t shopping at Shaw’s, she delights audiences of all ages by sharing her observations on life, marriage, divorce and the experiences of trying to excel at motherhood . . . Or at least trying to keep her kids from needing extensive therapy.
She is the 2016 Winner of The Strand Cup Comedy Competition and regularly performs throughout New England. She has appeared at Improv Boston and most recently did her first international show in Toronto.

Annie has been making people laugh her entire life, but formally starting hitting up the comedy scene in ‘22. She has performed in the Portland Maine Comedy Festival for 3 years and was 5th in New England’s Funniest Comedian in 2024. Her raunchy story telling and dark humor will have you clutching your pearls! Come see her work her magic ! 🪄
