FREE: Planting Your Summer Vegetable Garden

Come learn about how to plant and grow Summer vegetables in your home garden in this-hands-on class at the Portland Edible Gardens Demonstration Garden.

May is the perfect time of year to start planting some of our favorite heat loving crops like tomatoes, peppers, eggplant and more. Knowing a few tricks and tips can really make a huge difference in the productivity of these veggies. We will cover the following:

• The right spot for your summer veggies

• Planting tomatoes, peppers, eggplant and more

• Fertility management for these crops

• Training and trellising methods

• Organic pest and disease management practices

All classes at the Demonstration Garden are FREE and All Are Welcome!
