Founded by couple Kerry Jones and Ky Alexander, the outfit is rounded out by a muscular rhythm section consisting of Keith Charlie on bass and Josh Gooday on drums. Blending vocal elements of Jeff Buckley, Lana Del Rey, and PJ Harvey overtop musical aspects of Unwound, Deftones, and Television, their genre defying sound creates songs that are truly one of a kind
is an Alternative/Post-Punk band based out of San Francisco, CA.Agness Twin started back in the late '90s in the San Francisco underground music scene as Agness with Elisa Ovrahim as the front woman. After migrating to Los Angeles in 2003 she released the self produced 2009 LP “Waiting for my Ghost" under the name Agness Twin. The album offers unique, progressive arrangements with her custom double-neck electric 12-string/6-string guitar that adds touches of dark, ambient, and Americana. After relocating back to the SF Bay Area and a long break from music she was asked to join Vinsantos as the guitarist/backing vocalist for Vinsantos on the "Love and Rockets" reunion tour of 2023. Following the tour Agness Twin released "Turn to Gold". Elegant vocals & guitar layers tapping into Shoe-gaze w/Vinsantos on piano & and other local musicians that contribute to its hypnotic, genre defying sound that is well received in the Alternative/Post-Punk music scene and is embraced by many college radio stations & DJs on the West Coast. Agness Twin is currently on tour and working on new material with new band members Elizabeth Quigley on Bass/backing vocals & Chirstos Kougentakis- Drums.
is a Nouveau Wave synth-pop collaboration featuring members from Canada, the East Coast, and Portland’s vibrant music scene. Their music blends danceable rhythms, colorful instrumentation and infectious melodies with a post-punk undercurrent. Mirror Mirror brings playful energy and a genre- bending style to the stage.
- (Default Mode Network) is the brainchild of Portland native Ian Wallace, who spent his early musical life as a choirboy and orchestral musician followed by a collegiate vocal jazz program. After too many lost weekends as a sideman in other local projects, Wallace decided to focus on his longstanding love of electronic music and try something new. He joined forces with longtime friend and bandmate Peter Lee (guitar/bass) and PDX music scene veterans Jason Grayle (drums) and Caroline Jackson (keys) to launch a project combining lush synthesizers, danceable rhythms, and live instrumentation.
DMN creates groove-forward, melody-driven dance music that bridges the gap between 80s radio-friendly new wave and contemporary indietronica. The band has released two EPs and a self-titled album, Default Mode Network (2023), carving out a space in Portland’s small but vibrant electronic pop scene. With their latest material, DMN delves into themes of growth, rejection, fantasy, and futility—always anchored by a backbeat and ready for the dance floor!
