Children's Week 2025: Port In A Storm

To celebrate Children’s Week 2025 the Portland Maritime is offering a hands-on creative session aimed at children and their families. Children will explore the story of how the Portland Lifeboat assisted in the rescue of survivors from the Admella Shipwreck. There will be the chance to get inspired by the artwork of local Portland artist, Bob Stone, who has created a wonderful series of prints depicting how the Lifeboat and its crew rescued survivors.

There will then be time to get hands-on creative and make a print using foam blocks and water-based textas.
