Drawing Workshop with Jane Farnan

To mark the close of Jane Farnan's exhibition, Ink Lines, we are holding a workshop led by Jane at the Portland Arts Centre.

In this 90 minute workshop, using a 2B pencil, a black felt tip pen and colour pencils on A3 paper, participants will draw freehand their choice of image from a range of photos Jane has taken of Portland Marina and Harbour.

The focus is on participants capturing the essentials of an image freehand using eye and pencil measurements whilst choosing what to depict and what to leave out of their drawing.

No experience is necessary and all materials will be provided.

This workshop is aimed at adults but keen artists aged 14 and upwards are welcome.
