BOLD is thrilled to host a reading with Judy Savinar, author of Kissing Strangers.
Judy Savinar’s book, Kissing Strangers, is a compilation of ten tales of ten unique women as they navigate familiar life challenges, but with twists and turns that flip the script. A little bit funny, a little bit scary, and a lot bit entertaining as empty-nesting, care-giving, illness, even murder come into play. Meet an assortment of dynamic, tenacious women as Judy reads their stories from her book. Leave with thoughts that niggle at you at night, make you smile, or even make you cry, but all and all, you’ll have had a grand time.
A Portland native, Judy Savinar, started as an advertising copywriter in San Francisco and Portland and later, taught writing and reading as a librarian in Portland Public Schools. Now, she writes short stories. She enjoys cooking, running and visiting her sons on opposite coastlines. And she always welcomes sharing a good bottle of wine.
Arrive at 6:30 p.m. to grab a snack or drink. The event will start at 7:00 p.m.
