An Edwardian Evening on the Town

Join us for a fun Edwardian evening on the town. We will be dining at Portland’s oldest restaurant, the iconic Huber’s Cafe, which has operated in its current location since 1910. Collier’s Magazine called Huber’s “the downtown club of the day, where everybody met everybody twice daily.” So let’s imagine ourselves as Portlanders of 1910, admiring the then-new stained glass skylight, mahogany paneling, terrazzo floor, and fixtures. We will be dining in Huber’s front dining room to afford ourselves a quieter experience than the large bar. Dinner will be a three-course prix fixe menu of a field greens salad with raspberry vinaigrette, choice of entrée, and crème brulée and coffee for dessert.
