Adaptive Martial Arts & Self-Defense Classes

Starting 2/21, Instructor Sam Maurine will lead a new inclusive class offering @ SWPMA with, "Adaptive Martial Arts and Self-Defense."

From Sam- "Regardless of physical ability or knowledge, no one is defenseless. There is always something you can do.
We will train adapted self-defense and movement to give every student usable techniques for self-defense. From falling and rolling, to striking and light sparing."

Teacher Bio-
Sam Maupin disabled martial artist with a strong background in USAF Aikido, Kyokushin Karate and other Japanese arts.
He was born with Cerebral Palsy (CP), but grew up in the woods of Washington state climbing trees and Kayaking.

Outside of martial arts, he has been a freelance reporter in Seattle, and is currently a drone pilot/ instructor.
