Join writer and storyteller Rachel Attias for a hands-on workshop designed to empower and uplift the voices of Las Adelitas residents and the community through storytelling and creative writing. If you are curious to express your inner voice, this inclusive and welcoming session is for you. Together, we'll explore the art of personal narrative; how our experiences, memories, and cultures shape stories worth sharing. Participants will have the opportunity to write, share, and connect with others in a supportive environment. This workshop is open to all ages and the general public.
This workshop is part of an ongoing community-based project A Garden of Doors to bring accessible arts programming to Las Adelitas, nurturing local talent and celebrating the diverse stories within our community. Each session will build on each other so we encourage you to register with the bundled ticket which includes ALL DATES.
No prior writing experience needed. Materials and light refreshments provided!
