Edith: Ruth and Charles’ maid Age 18-28
Ruth Condomine: Wife, and eventually ghost, of Charles. Age 25-45
Charles Condomine: Cantankerous novelist. Currently married to Ruth and formerly married to Elvira. Age 30-45
Dr. Bradman: Friend of Charles. Age 45-60
Mrs. Bradman:Wife of Dr. Bradman.Age 40-55
Madame Arcati:Voice is high and clear.A striking woman, dressed not too extravagantly but with a decided bias towards barbaric. A medium who conjures up Charles' first, and eventually his second, wives . Age 45-80
Elvira: Perfectly strange and very charming. The first wife, and now ghost, to Charles Condomine. She tortures and aggravates Charles, and continues to do so, even once joined by his second wife Ruth . Age 25-45
Show Synopsis
A spiritualist medium holds a seance for a writer seeking inspiration for his latest work, but accidentally summons the spirit of his deceased first wife. This leads to an increasingly complex love triangle with his first wife and current wife of five years. After his second wife is accidentally killed, she “passes over” and joins the ex-wife allowing the two “blithe spirits” to haunt the hapless writer into perpetuity. Join us for a ghostly good time into the world where the living and the dead collide in this comedic masterpiece.
