Meet PTFF Filmmaker in Residence: Zach Carver

Please join us in welcoming Zach Carver to our rich artistic community and learn more about his creative process and current project by joining us on May 30, 5:30-7:30 pm at the Cotton Building, 607 Water Street.

Admission is free with a donation to support the Peter Simpson Free Cinema Fund, which grants free passes and tickets to local community members who would otherwise not be able to afford PTFF events and Festivals.

Zach was the writer/director behind the 2020 PTFF Audience Award-winning film Race to Alaska, which chronicles the characters who chose to take on the adventure of the Port Townsend-based race. The film was also nominated for a Big Sky Award at Big Sky Documentary Festival, and screened in many others, including Seattle International Film Festival, Vancouver International Film Festival, Cape Town Adventure Film Festival, and Anchorage Film Festival.
