Strum & Drum Band Class at the Port Orange REC

Join us at the REC Center for Strum & Drum!!

In the Ukulele Strum and Drum Band, kids dive into an exciting mix of music-making that builds confidence, creativity, and teamwork! Each week, students:

-Strum on Ukuleles - Learn simple chords and rhythms that make music come alive

-Drum It Out - Explore hand drums and percussion to build coordination and timing

-Sing Together - Boost self-expression and listening skills through group singing

-Build Confidence - Gain a sense of pride as they master songs and work together

-Make New Friends - Collaborate in a fun, supportive group setting

Shine in a Final Band Performance - Share what they’ve learned with family and friends at the last class!

Whether it’s their first time picking up an instrument or they already love music, kids walk away feeling proud, inspired, and ready to rock!

We are direct pay providers for Step Up for Students, accept Sunshine Health & Children’s Medical Services (CMS), and private pay.
