"Come back, holy night, beauteous dreams, come back again..."
Escape into a night of dreams as Award Winning Tenor Raguel Gabriel returns to Trinidad for a 'one night only' classical recital accompanied by his frequent collaborator, American pianist Jeffrey Middleton, visiting from New York City. Following the successful Manhattan recital, 2023's Night and Dreams, the sequel's program will transport listeners to another realm. The poignant, beautiful and emotive list of songs includes the works of Schubert, R. Strauss, Mahler, Hahn, Chausson and more. Inspired by his love for the night and all it encompasses, Gabriel will explore all aspects of the theme-the romance, darkness, longing and provoked thoughts that come during the reign of night and what the inevitable return of dawn can bring. Held at the beautiful and stately Central Bank Auditorium, the duo will present a most unforgettable night of classical voice and piano that is not to be missed.
