Learn how to transform pork belly into a tender, melt-in-your-mouth main course with a Japanese twist. We’ll balance the rich, savory flavors of soy and ginger with smoky roasted eggplant and a smooth sweet potato purée — a beautiful harmony of taste and texture.
See how slow cooking pork belly in dark beer creates a deep, comforting flavor that’s perfect for cooler weather. Paired with tangy braised red cabbage, this dish is all about hearty, homey goodness and simple techniques that make a big impact.
For a playful finish, we’ll turn pork belly on its head with a dessert you’ll never forget! This creamy matcha Bavarois is topped with shards of crispy maple pork skin for a sweet-and-salty surprise that shows just how inventive cooking can be.

Want to save the Eventbrite fee? You can register in person and over the phone directly with the store (604) 939-6200. Payment is required when you register - visa, MasterCard, gift certificates are accepted over the phone, cash and debit in person.
We have a 72 hours cancelation policy. If you need to cancel but have not given 72 hours notice, no refund, transfer to another class or credit will be issued, but you can send somebody in your place.
In the event that not enough participants are registered, we would have to cancel the class. We will notify registered participants at least 48 hrs prior and issue a full refund.
Please inquire prior to booking if there are any food concern. Menu modifications can not be provided during the event.
