Mazatlán: Pacific Pearl – Chef Luis - Cooking Class

Mazatlán is a costal city in the Pacific north and home of chef Luis, he will be sharing his favorite dishes from back home.

On the menu tonight:

Duros con Ceviche - A traditional carrot and Mahi Mahi ceviche, crisp cucumber and red onions served over a deep fried wheat bread similar to pork rind
Asado a la Plaza - Tender beef and potatoes cooked and then fried until crispy, served with a delicious tomato broth and topped with lettuce, carrots, pickled onions, zucchini, dry cheese and a spicy hot salsa

Freshly made corn tortillas - Take a turn trying to make your own!

Suaves de Coco - Coconut based marshmallows very typical from this region
