You're probably familiar with the artistic style of Eric Carle, even if you don't realize it. As the author and illustrator of many popular books, including The Very Hungry Caterpillar, and Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? Carle was known for utilizing tissue paper to create unique artwork to accent his stories, often depicting animals and nature.
Join us in the Blue Water, Green Spaces exhibit, for our special quarterly Artist Spotlight Workshop. Our experienced in-house arts & crafts instructor, Lisa Jo, will guide you through creating your own pieces out of tissue paper, inspired by the works of Eric Carle.
This workshop is for all ages, with anyone under the age of 14 requiring an adult to assist. Beginners always welcome!
