📢 Attention Kayakers of the Eastern Shore!

Do you own a kayak and care about our coast? 🌊 This Monday, July 7, we have a unique opportunity for 8 paddlers only to join a hands-on citizen science adventure at Black Duck Cove Park!

We’re: 🌿 Launching a new eelgrass monitoring site (CERI Project)
🧬 Kicking off our role as the Eastern Shore sample site for the COCO Project, using eDNA to uncover ocean biodiversity

🕗 Meeting time: 8:30 AM
🛶 You must bring your own kayak and be comfortable paddling in calm coastal waters.

No science background needed — just your kayak, curiosity, and community spirit!

🌊 Help us explore, monitor, and protect the underwater meadows that shelter sea life and defend our coasts.
