Maker’s Tropic Lights

Watch Port Douglas light up after dark as Tropic Lights, proudly presented by Maker Artisan Gallery, transform the Sugar Wharf and a feature wall on Macrossan Street into a magnificent vision of the reef like you’ve never seen before.

Captured by the dedicated and talented team at Bio Quest, these large-scale projections show the beauty of coral and marine life, bringing the underwater world to the surface in vivid colour and breathtaking detail.

Using state of the art filming techniques they have developed over the years; Bio Quest have captured a world that offers a remarkable glimpse into the breathtaking details and wonder of life on the reef. It is a striking tribute to the Great Barrier Reef – one of the world’s most extraordinary natural wonders – and a timely reminder of the importance of its protection.
