Join Us for Meloway’s first ever *FREE* All ages (kid friendly) Community Potluck BBQ & POOL PARTY that will be held in Port Coquitlam at “AGGIE PARK/Centennial outdoor pool” on Saturday JUNE 28th (2025) 1pm - 6pm.
- Meloway will be bringing some food, drinks & 1-2 transportable propane BBQs to cook with but REMEMBER this is a KID FRIENDLY COMMUNITY POTLUCK bbq so bring
1.) FOOD & DRINKS to share
2.) Lawn Chairs, Tables, Coolers, garage bags, picnic stuff
3.) Bring the Kids! (There’s a nice playground with monkey bars, swings & slides)
3.) (If going swimming) sunscreen, towels, swimming attire
4.) (Sports/Games to play) Soccer, bocce, frisbee, etc
5.) PETS ARE ALLOWED (on leash)
6.) Bring more BBQs to cook faster
We aim to start cooking between 1:30-2:00pm as we plan to have the Group feast at around 2:30-3:00pm then around 4:00pm go into the public 25-metre, heated six-lane pool with a one-metre diving board, warm showers and separate change rooms with facilities that are wheelchair accessible only after everyone as ate & cleaned up. It does say online that the pool is FREE but we suggest to bring $ just in case as in the years past, it was a couple dollars per person.
- There is free parking all around the park but at 2072 Manning Avenue there is a FREE parking lot.
- COQUITLAM SKYTRAIN STATION is very close by, only a 10 minute ish ride on the 172/701, & the bus stop just across the street from the Park/Pool
