Hey Parents!
Herp's Alive Reptile Rescue is returning again this year!
Join us Thursday July 31st from 6-8 pm for a very special edition of our popular Kids Night event featuring Herp's Alive Reptile Rescue & Education Organization all the way from South Euclid, Ohio!
The Herps Alive Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to saving, rehabilitating and caring for unwanted, neglected and abused reptiles and amphibians, and to finding new homes for them when possible, with an emphasis on educating the public!
Kids night is a blast and your little one will not be disappointed!
This event is broken up into 3 sessions.
Session 1: A 1 hour long interactive reptile & amphibian experience put on by Herp's Alive!
Come out and let your child experience what it is like to see and touch the scales of a snake and the shell of a turtle.
What we get to see this night will be a surprise. We do know that they have a lot of ambassador animals including very large snakes and lizards! The last few years were awesome!
Session 2: Gem Mining!
The kids will get to pan for gems or fossils (your choice) from all over the world on our home made 116 foot gem mine! Each child will receive a take home bag as a souvenir for their gems and fossils as well as a fossil or gem ID card.
Session 3: Kayaking!
The kids will get to try a kayak or stand up paddleboard out in our canal and get a basic lesson on the sport.
Parents are welcome and encouraged to participate. One parent or guardian must be present with the child. This night is all about the kiddos! Please no more than 2 parents to accompany the child.

Whats provided:
-a bottle of water for each child
-a bag of mining rough complete with take home bag and gem/fossil ID cards
-bug spray
-life jackets & paddles
What to bring:
-swimwear or something that they can get wet in.
-a towel
Cost:
Cost is based on the bag of mining rough you would like for your child and includes the entire event:
Prospector- 2 lbs of sand w/ 3+oz of gemstones: $34
Paydirt - 3 lbs of sand w/ 6+oz of gemstones: $36
Lucky Strike - 5 lbs of sand w/ 9+oz of gemstones: $39
Emerald Strike - 5lbs of sand w/ 6oz of gemstones & 3 oz of emeralds: $41
Fossil Find - 3 lbs of sand w/ 4 oz of fossils & 1/2 oz of shark teeth: $37
Fossil Dig - 5lbs of sand w/ 8 oz of fossils & 1/2 oz of shark teeth: $41
The Motherlode: 10 lbs of sand w/ 10+ oz of gemstones, 4 oz of fossils, 15-20 shark teeth, 2 arrowheads, and a large sample of amethyst druzy: $53
THE MEGA STRIKE: 20lbs of sand w/ 20+oz of gemstones, 4 oz of fossils, 1 oz of shark teeth, 2 arrowheads, a MEGA sample of amethyst druzy, & a large crystal point: $78
Kids can split a bag of gems or fossils but there will be a $26 event charge for each additional child

We feel honored and look forward to having Herp's Alive out again this evening for a very special edition of Kid's Night!
A portion of your purchase will be donated to Herp's Alive. You are welcome to and encouraged to give them a donation as well. This is how they operate. They take in an average of 700 reptiles per year while adopting out 500. All of these animals get expensive to feed!
This is a prepay & preregister event so we can prepare!
