Casting Call! Auditions for Shakespeare at Sunset at Field Hall

Calling all actors! Field Arts & Events Hall in Port Angeles is thrilled to announce auditions for Shakespeare at Sunset, a selection of classic comic and romantic scenes and songs from the works of William Shakespeare.
This enchanting production will feature scenes from beloved plays such as Two Gentlemen of Verona, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Romeo & Juliet, and more, all woven together in a fresh script written by Denise Winter of Key City Public Theater and will be directed by Steven Raider-Ginsburg of Field Hall.
Performance Dates: August 9, 10, 16, and 17, 2025
Rehearsals: The two weeks leading up to the performance dates.
Compensation: Actors will receive a stipend.
Audition Dates & Times:
� Tuesday, May 20, 2025: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
� Wednesday, May 21, 2025: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Audition Location: Field Arts & Events Hall
What to Prepare:
� Please prepare two monologues: One contemporary monologue (2-5 minutes in length), One Shakespearean monologue (2-5 minutes in length)
� Be prepared to read sides from the script.
� Singers, please prepare 16 bars of a song of your choice.
� If you play an instrument, please bring it and be prepared to play a selection. There will be a piano available.
� Most importantly, come ready to have some fun exploring these timeless characters!
